Nicole Taylor

With a varied background of working with young people in various community settings as a youth worker and youth centre worker. Nicole also volunteers at a local primary school helping students with basic skills. She currently teaches in a Young Offenders Institution (YOI) covering various subjects as well as having the role of examinations officer.
Nicole started teaching in 2000 to community groups including back to work, elderly, people with disabilities, primarily mental health acute patients, day hospital, supported housing projects and forensic units. She is currently director of Windmill Training, which teaches teaching vocational skills to mental health service users and designs and delivers courses and training on mental health awareness.
Back in 2004 Nicole joined the board of directors of Southside Rehabilitation Association, a charity that supports mental health service users with employment training.
