Push MHFA - World Mental Health Day 2011
World Mental Health Day this year takes place on 10th October 2011.
The theme is, "The Great Push: Investing in Mental Health". In line with this, MHFA England is running a competition, "Push MHFA". This is a chance for MHFA Instructors to raise mental health awareness, promote the MHFA course, have fun and be in with the chance of winning a prize of £100!
Each instructor will 'Push MHFA' by asking members of the public to read some information on mental health and MHFA courses and then leave their details. Each entry will then be entered into a prize draw to win £100 due to be held on World Mental Health Day on 10th October. (the form for MHFA Instructors can be found here.)
Poppy Jaman, National Director of MHFA England started the Push on 9th September:
"At the Health and Wellbeing - 21st Century Agenda Conference in London, Poppy talked to Steve Boorman about MHFA. Steve was already aware of our work and hugely complimentary!! A good start to our world mental health campaign - Push MHFA!"
